Advanced Technology Sanitizing and

                                    Disinfecting Systems

Challenge: Recently, concern has arisen around the discovery that the active
disinfecting ingredient found in the vast majority of commercial sanitizers/disinfectants
(quat) is electrically attracted to and absorbed into fabrics, preventing their release onto

            surfaces and unavailable to disinfect.
For example, a pail is filled with one gallon of sanitizer/disinfectant solution and the quat
concentration is measured at 400 ppm (twice the minimum sanitizing amount). After a

cleaning towel (cotton, microfiber or paper) is placed in the solution the quat level
remaining in solution may decrease significantly. This drop in concentration occurs
because the quat is absorbed into the fabric. When the towel is used on a surface the
applied solution is now 100 ppm or less, making it ineffective. Sanitizing/disinfecting
using buckets, towels and mops may actually cross contaminate other surfaces rather than
            eliminate viruses, bacteria and fungi.

Solution: Native Green Disposables cleaning wipes and Positive Results Electrostatic
sprayer are the technology choices that eliminate quat absorption while reducing chemical
            use and their costs.

Disposables: Made from special spun fibers, these wipes resist sanitizer absorption
while providing a textured surface to remove and retain soils. Wipes hold enough
disinfectant to cover surfaces to meet EPA dwell time requirements. By using a pre-
measured, consistent amount of chemical per wipe, Disposables reduce chemical usage by
over 50%. Safer, more effective and less cost.

Positive Results Electrostatic Sprayer: When liquids are charged electrostatically, a

positive charge is added to each droplet. In the Positive+Results electrostatic spraying
system, the charge is added to the droplet as it propels through the sprayer. Like magnets,
these droplets are attracted to surfaces--which typically carry a negative charge--then
spread out uniformly along that surface. The benefits of an electrostatic sprayer include:

            + No quat absorption
+ Uniform complete coverage, using less chemical, even in hard-to-reach areas

+ Adjustable nozzle means you can dial in the correct dwell time, 1 to10 minutes
+ Faster application time, cover areas in seconds rather than minutes
