Sir,
With reference to the subject cited, I would like to share our
experience gathered from the visits to your state as follows -
1. The farmer's group are fully satisfied with your heartiest reception,
hospitalities & arrangement of visit to different places.
2. Also pleased with cooperation of all your officers and staffs assoeiated with
the Programme specially from Centre of Excellenee, Thingciawl, Horticulture
Centre, Chite & Centre of Excellence, Thiak. Floweve[ the Programme wauld
not be successfulwithouttheir positive & exeellent cooperation'
3. Ihe farmers were very much satisfied with the new technologies like
Cultivation of Dragon fruit; lntegrated farming of Dragon Fruit-Papaya-Honey
Bee; Cultivation of rose in Ploy Green House, Vermicontpost Unit etc. in
Centre of Excellence, Thingdawl.
4. Again our farmers enjoyed the management of Citrus rnother plants. l'issue
Unit, Mushroom Froduction Unit, Rose cultivaticn under Poly Green House
in the Horticulture centre, Chite.
5. Furthel we must mention about the integrateo farnring systems practising
in cluster approach under Centre of Excellence. Thiak as a new avenue
for development of horticulture
