Atlantic, Doolin’s proximity to the bare limestone
of the Burren makes it a place of breathtaking beauty.

you are a mere 8km from the Cliffs of Moher. Another
noted surfing location- a break which generates Irelands
biggest wave, ‘Aill na Searrach’, can be seen here just off

nearby archaeological sites, many dating to the Iron Age

The Great Stalactite, measuring 7.3 metres discovered
in 1952 is to be seen in Doolin Cave, thought to be the
longest stalactite in the Northern hemisphere.
