 Vocations
 • Catenians pray at every Circle Meeting for Vocations and there are over 300 Circles.
• Every Circle is allocated one date in the year to offer a Mass for Vocations; in that way on nearly every day of the year throughout the world a Mass is being held for Vocations. West Somerset hold their mass locally in February each year.
• Every Circle invites their local Clergy, Priests and Deacpns and their wives, to join them for dinner at an Annual Clergy and Ladies Night.
• The Association financially supports the National Office for Vocation. In 2002 we pledged support by arranging an annual collection throughout the Association; this helps to support the day to day working of the office in London and its vital work in reaching out to those called to religious life..
• The Association financially supports the House of Discernment, attached to Shrewsbury Cathedral.
• The Catenian Vocations Initiative assists the Hierarchy to increase Vocations to the Priesthood, Deaconate and the Religious life. As part of their work the Vocations Initiative has helped fund publication of well-written literature. More recently the Catenian Association has supported six Vocation websites.
