PREFACE

I am Navya . I am 11 years old and have just completed my
grade VII . I live in the sprawling green campus of UCSKM
Public School, Bhiwadi. Living in the school campus, I
always get enough time on my own to explore myself and
my surroundings. Recently ,I discovered my love for English
poetry and appetite to reflect upon my thoughts in a poetic
manner. I firmly believe that poetry is a very powerful tool
to communicate.
This is my first book which floated in my mind as I wanted to
write something worthwhile. My parents kept on motivating
me to write atleast one poem per day. As I like to play chess ,
I began writing the first poem on chess. I keep getting ideas
on several issues and then, I try to pen down the same in a
poetry.

I just love to read all the poets and my favourite authors
are William Blake, Rabindranath Tagore and Alfred Lord
Tennyson.
