9. TRANSPORTATION

The Cyprus West University is only 25 minutes away from the Ercan
Airport. Also, it is very close to Nicosia and Kyrenia and they are famous

for natural historical beauties and beaches.

9.1 School Bus

Cyprus West University offers a free shuttle service to the students and
staff from all over the city every day of the week, as well as for academic

activities which are outside of the campus, sports activities and travel to
and from the faculties. Wireless internet service is provided in busses to

passengers.

9.2 Air Transportation

Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus has direct flights from Istanbul,
Izmir, Ankara, Antalya, Adana, Hatay and Gaziantep 9.3

9.3 Marine Transportation
There are two-way ferries and sea bus services from both Kyrenia and

Famagusta to Mersin and Alanya ports.

10. ORIENTATION DAYS

Through the Orientation Days, which aim to enrich the life of the

university for new students, making it easier for new students to adapt
their educational life by provided information about the University’s

processes, support services, ethical issues, dormitories and get chance to
meet other students. It includes student pick-ups from the airport.
