1.0 Electromagnetic Immunity

Note: This section applicable to Lubricated Rotary
Vane Medical Vacuum Systems with the TotalAlert
Embedded electronic control system.

EN 61000-6-2

Medical Electrical Equipment needs special
precautions regarding EMC and needs to be
installed and put into service according to the
EMC information provided in this manual.

Portable and mobile RF communications
equipment can aff ect Medical Electrical
Equipment.

The use of accessories, transducers, and cables
other than those specifi ed by the manufacturer,
may result in decreased immunity of the TotalAlert
Embedded control system.

The TotalAlert Embedded control system should
not be used adjacent to other equipment. If
adjacent use is necessary, the TotalAlert Embedded
control system should be observed to verify
normal operation in the confi guration in which it
will be used.
