2B. Durable plastic PM program – Conveyor belts, guards, etc. Overtime, degradation of equipment or machines can lead to foreign materials being introduced into the product. Good equipment PM plays a big role in
not only preventing foreign material, but also helps to identify root cause during an investigation. If wear is noticed during preventive maintenance programs, it is recommended to revaluate the cadence of the program. The goal is to develop a robust equipment/machine life maintenance program.
