BEST PRACTICES: PLASTIC/RUBBER SOFT, OTHER
Drums with liners - Liners should be partially cut to prevent missing pieces. The cutting of plastic liners should be evaluated to ensure the use of an appropriate cutting tool (knife, scissor, etc.)
• Partial cuts should be made on liners. A cut in the center of the liner straight down the liner, stopping roughly an inch short of the fill port. This action and all accounted pieces should be documented and signed off by the operator.
• Graco style pumps should not touch bottom of liner to prevent possible tears.
• Do not use barrel rings to hold plastic bag in place when pumping to avoid tearing.
