Report:
Beautiful sunny day 22C; perfect weather to do this
walk. We got the 9am ferry from Palm Beach to
Mackerel Beach, then walked to the right-hand end
of the beach and scrambled up over the rocks to the
start of the path.
Then we walked to the Resolute Beach path, turned
le and climbed up the wooden steps. Then we
walked to Aboriginal Rock carvings (can't see them
anymore) and had morning tea. Then onto the
Resolute picnic area, Red Hand cave/overhang,
(which is clearly visible) and then on to West Head.
Admired the stunning view and then walked along
the coastpath backto MackerelBeach where wehad
lunch. Then set off for Currawong Beach.
Track is at le hand end of the beach and up through the
houses; they were repairing some section so we went back
down the beach and up along the next path and continued
