When the words “St. Kitts-Nevis Restaurant Week” and “Follow Your Heart” (the slogan for the
Eastern Caribbean island) appeared in my email box, I knew it was an opportunity I couldn’t
pass up. I mean, we all know that my heart always leads to food — so there’s that, but the idea
of experiencing Kittitian cuisine WITH locals made this particular trip a special one…
If there’s only one place you visit on this list, I really do hope it’s Salt Plage! Wow, what a special
little spot on the island. The cocktails, the food, the buzz, the live music, the epic sunset… There
aren’t many places on the planet that have a vibe like this — perhaps the reason Salt Plage was
named by Condé Nast Traveller as one of the top beachside cafes in the world…
