MARINA NEWS

Since its opening in February 2016, the marina has become noted not only for its old
world design, but for its scenic location as well. The marina features an entry and
turning basin and is a designated point of entry with granted clearance authority. As a

superyacht owner himself, Buddy Darby, the visionary behind Christophe Harbour,
and his team developed the marina with the needs and desires of yacht owners and
crews in mind. Consequently, visiting yachts benefit from ample facilities which
include a shopping village and 24/7 security. There is also significantly reduced

bunkering costs due to no duties on the import or sale of fuel, provisioning services,
state-of-the-art pedestals and a state-of-the-art dock. In the early months of the
sailing season, the marina was on tap to have its best year ever. However, when the
government closed air and sea ports, the Christophe Harbour marina opened its

doors to numerous yachts seeking refuge to ride out the pandemic. Many of those
stayed throughout, which resulted in our staff and their families getting to know crew,
captains, guests and owners. In fact, not only was Sugar & Salt a welcomed asset,
several on our team brought provisions from local stores and gardens. They have all

left us for other parts of the world, but we shall forever remember their stay in
                    Christophe Harbour.
