Nominations
In consideration of payment of the Slot Licence Fee in
full, the Slot Licensee, as at the Race Acceptances Date, is entitled to an entry in the Race. Final Acceptances are made by approved slot licence holders/nominated representatives based on an acknowledged agreement between parties.

Note 10% of all prizemoney is allocated to a Charity directed by the Managing owner. Respective charities will be required to be nominated by 5pm Friday 13 October 2023. In the absence of a nominated charity this prizemoney will be allocated to the ATC Foundation for distribution.

Ballot Conditions
The following races will be exempt from Ballot;
a. WinneroftheATCGoldenRose(G1)2022
b. Winner of the ATC Randwick Guineas (G1) 2023
c. WinneroftheATCArrowfieldSprint(G2)2023
d. Winner, 2nd and 3rd placegetter in the TAB Epsom Handicap 2023
e. Winner, 2nd and 3rd placegetter in the Silver Eagle conducted on 7 October 2023
Should it become necessary to reduce the number of acceptors, the excess horses shall be rejected, commencing with the horses with the lowest NSW rating at final acceptances shall be the first rejected, this procedure will continue until the safety limit is reached.
Should a further ballot be required between horses with the same NSW Benchmark rating figure then the ballot will be by prizemoney and the horse with the lowest average prizemoney in their last 3 starts shall be eliminated first.

All acceptances must be lodged in Australia via the Trainers Service Centre (TSC).

Slot Licence Fees & Dates
The Slot Licence Fee is A$700,000 plus GST to be paid in two non-refundable instalments to Racing NSW, as follows:
A first instalment being $300,000 plus GST, to be paid by 1 February 2023;
The second instalment of $400,000 plus GST, to be paid by the Second Instalment Payment Date, being 1 July 2023.
Declaration Of Emergencies
Up to six emergency runners may be declared for The Everest. The Sydney Stakes $2,000,000 WFA 1200m (Group 3) will be conducted on Saturday 14 October 2023 and also act as a consolation race for The Everest. Any emergencies declared for The Everest must have accepted for the Sydney Stakes. From that race, a list of reserves will be selected and declared as emergencies for The Everest.
