Head cook Qi Shou (Tony) Wu, has been with Café Moda since Day 1 (how many places can claim that?!), and has been responsible for food prepara- tion and menu all these years.
Tony has a diverse cooking background, including own- ing his own Chinese restau- rant in Chicago. He came to Café Moda from Hamada as a sushi chef (old-timers will remember Hamada as the original sushi house in Vegas, responsible for training many of the sushi chefs who went on to open their own businesses). Many Filipinos are surprised to learn Tony is the cook behind Café Moda’s taste and menu. His knowledge of fresh food preparation along with spice selection and proper cook- ing has allowed him to mas- ter Filipino cuisine and o er great-tasting, authentic recipes straight from the Philippines.
