PET COMMITTEE NEWS
By Steve Clunn, Pet Committee Co-Chair
Seen a Few Cats Roaming Around Lately?
Did you know that registering your cat with Resident Ser-
vices is FREE? Lately, we’ve had a few cats scurry away
from their units. Many cats are not used to being outdoors
or away from their units, which can be scary and dangerous
for them. When you register them, your fur baby can be re-
turned to you easier should it decide to wander from home.
Yappy Happy Hour
Attendance at Watergate at Landmark’s Yappy Happy
Hours continues to grow! So join us on the First Friday of
each month through September: August 2 and September
6 at 7:30 p.m. on the Upper Terrace. While the Pet Commit-
tee provides snacks and beverages, you can also bring your
favorite snacks and/or adult beverages to share. Your four-
legged friend is also welcomed!
If you’re a dog lover and want a doggie fix, you’re invited
to join us as well. It’s a lot of fun and great socialization for
dogs and humans alike! Bring your own reusable cup, so
Both humans and dogs are welcome at our Yappy Happy we can cut down on waste. Donations are also accepted at
Hour socials! Photo: Steve Clunn these events (for future Yappy Happy Hours).

Bo is deaf, his family
trained him to understand and respond to different
hand signals. This is one smart dog indeed and you can
catch him sniffing plants, mingling with other WAL
residents or enjoyinh his favorite pastime—sleeping!
