                  Quest Arizona Financial Face-Off Team
New! One Saturday in April, this team will demonstrate their financial knowledge. In the first half of the
challenge, each team is given the same family scenario. The games test their knowledge of the
financial topics and the results of the games alter each team’s scenario. In the second half of the
competition, the teams consult a realtor from the Tucson Association of Realtors who gives them 6
choices of real Tucson homes for their family. Then the team deliberates and makes financial
recommendations for their family scenario. Once the decisions are made they are presented by the
team to a panel of judges, including realtors, bankers and business owners. The top 3 teams then
present again in the auditorium to a larger panel which has included the Mayor. Awards range from
$200/team to $1000/first place team. It truly is a fun-filled and educational day that demonstrates to the
students what they have learned and how it truly applies to real-life situations. The criteria for team
membership is current enrollment or previous completion of Quest’s Personal Finance course. Review
sessions and game practices will be held at Quest.
