                 Hon. Dick T. Morgan,

                                                Washington,

                                                                 D. 0.

                 Dear Papa:

Mr. John W. Jones was in the office this morning and

asked about the matter of his pension. It seems from his talk

that you have introduced a bill in congress to increase his pen

sion, the purnber of the bill being 502. He is somehow under tho

impression that it has been passed and he wanted to know just when

he would begin to get the increase. Please advise me as to the

exact status of this mattor as he will be in on the 10th to

                 get thio Information.

Every thigg about as usual. Hot much money this month,

but think that it will pick up soon.

Polks are all well. Harland leaves this evening for a

visit to Bloomfield. Will stay £b out ten days I guess.

                                    I rxamain,

                                                  Your son,
