The fully equipped, state-of-the art onsite hospital delivers healthcare to
the animals in the park no matter the size. The two veterinarians and one
intern perform procedures either in the hospital or in the field depending
on the circumstances. The hospital is equipped to perform almost every
surgery or procedure and includes a nursery for the animals born in the
park. The larger animals are trained to allow the veterinarians to examine
them, and each animal receives an exam once a year.
The heart and soul of Wildlife Safari lies within the keepers at the park.
These amazingly dedicated people are passionate about the ministry of
the animals. Many have years of highly comprehensive and related educa-
tions. Others come with years of animal familiarity, understanding, and
skill. Some have moved far from their families, friends, or homes for
the opportunity to work at the park as they seek to join the mission to
conserve animals. The dedicated and selfless staff, collectively and often
sacrificially share in an objective to educate communities and to save
endangered animals from around the world.
