The couples are thrilled that their to-go business has been so strong,
because as Brandon notes, “beer is best enjoyed as part of a larger expe-
rience. Take it on a hike, down the river or in the back yard to enhance
your social experience.” That philosophy is behind WBC’s slogan—Find
         Your Weekend.

         MORE THAN A BREWERY

Ashley, Brandon, and Kelsey were all raised in Grants Pass and are close
friends from middle school in Grants Pass. As a result, Troy Yoho says the
aim of the brewery was “to create a community center for Grants Pass.”
Kelsey and Troy met at West Point, after which both served a decade
as Army officers and were twice deployed to Afghanistan. They left the
military to follow their dream of opening a brewery.

The WBC is open relatively late for the area—8:00 p.m. during the
week and 9:00 p.m. on the weekend. Ashley adds that the brewery
receives a lot of multigenerational guests, so they have juice boxes for
         kids and craft sodas.

The couples choose to have food trucks instead of serving meals so they
could keep their focus on the taps and customers. Valentino’s subs and
burgers are a permanent fixture, as is Tacomania. Two more are slated to
go live shortly—Catalyst pizza and a Wheelhouse coffee truck that does
small bites like avocado toast, bagels, and eggs. Guests may also bring in
food to enjoy. “We never wanted to start a restaurant, having these guys
here is a much better deal,” says Troy.
