Shingle in Southern Oregon

interested in wine. He moved around the state
constantly while growing up, attending 17 differ-
Gent grade schools, as his father did business all over
the world. One of the other most interesting wine destinations
where his family lived was Switzerland. “Living there exposed
me to a lot of different types of wine,” Enlow says.
Part of the lineup he was lucky enough to taste, at the tender
age of 15, included Bordeaux heavy-hitters Château Mouton
Rothschild and Lafitte. “We lived well,” he said, noting that
some of his father’s clients even paid him in wine.
While living in the Sierra Foothills in his 20s, he got a good
