OUR ASPIRATIONS 2019, MISSION
POSSIbLE: LET’S bE TOGETHER

17 January & 23 January 2019

UNITEN Aspirations is an annual event organized by
UNITEN in order to share the milestones and development
of the University with its employees. This year, UNITEN
conducted the event on 17 and 23 January 2019 at UNITEN
Putrajaya Campus and UNITEN KSHAS respectively. Its Vice-
Chancellor, Prof. Dato’ Ir. Dr. Kamal Nasharuddin Mustapha
delivered the aspirations and hoped that everyone would
contribute to improve the reputation of UNITEN. Besides
being a platform to engage with all UNITEN staff, the event
was also seen as a catalyst to strengthen their connections
with each other.

AAIbE CHAIR FOR RENEWAbLE ENERGY

The Electricity Supplies Industry Trust Account
(AAIBE) Chair for Renewable Energy is managed as an
endowment (donation) to provide research to enhance
the applications of renewable energy as an alternative
energy source for the country. The AAIBE is funded by
the power generating companies, i.e. TNB Generation
Sdn. Bhd. and Independent Power Producers (IPPs),
and is being administered by the Ministry of Energy,
Science, Technology, Environment & Climate Change
(MESTECC).

KICK-OFF OF SMART MObILE APPS AND
bLUEPRINT PROjECTS FOR UNITEN
SMART UNIVERCITY

11 February 2019
UNITEN Strategic Planning Centre held a kick-off of
Smart Mobile Apps and Blueprint Projects for UNITEN
Smart UniverCity attended by UNITEN Vice-Chancellor
and Deputy Vice-Chancellors, IBM representatives, ICT
TNB representatives, STAR TNB representatives and
TNB-X representatives.
