        Beginning in 2018, a new budget  structure,  called  the  Program  Expenditure  Classification  (PrExC),  will  be



        adopted by the Department of Trade and  Industry.  PrExC  restructures  an  agency’s  budget  by  grouping  all


        recurring activities as well as projects under the different programs or key strategies being pursued by the
        agency to meet its mandates and objectives.
