Staff In-Service Guide: Avitus Bone Harvester with Filter Insert
De-clogging
If the device clogs, follow these steps…
1. Perform several additional cutting strokes to
allow the device to de-clog itself.
2. Cover the tip opening for a few seconds to build
pressure; then uncover to clear the tip.
3. Pick the graft off of the tip.
If the tip is still clogged, use the Plunger (see next
page for instructions).
