● Building Back Better: The pandemic has provided challenges but also opportunities. What have we learned from it so that when it is over we build back better for the future. Choose either of the following as your focus: My Family ⏐ My School ⏐ My Community ⏐The UK ⏐The World.
● Choose a novel that you read during lockdown. Why did it mean a lot to you and why do you think others should read it as well?
● What challenges does the Biden administration face and how should it best resolve them?
● What do you think is the most exciting development in science today? Why is it so momentous and what relevance does it have for humanity?
● What have you learned to do during lockdown? How did you do it and why did you enjoy doing it so much?
Closing date – Wednesday, 31 March.
Essays to be sent as a Word document, with your name and form on the first page, to Mr Jefferies, j.jefferies@warwickschool.org Suggested word count between 1500-3000 words.

3. Plato thought that democracy was the rule of the ignorant. Was he right?
4. In the ancient world, did the art of democracies express the same concerns as the art of the autocratic regimes?
