Dear Director Biljana,
My most sincere thank you for the generosity that you extended to us as a school this past November.
It was a pleasure to meet you last August and to learn of Macedonia2025, its history, the lessons
learned along the way and the tremendous success and impact it has had on Macedonia.
You will read in the pages that follow the impact that you have had on our students. I think in many
ways it was a life changing event for them. Their eyes were opened, their minds were challenged,
their hearts were stirred and as future leaders they were inspired to dream. The personalities on
stage loomed large to them and even better still, the speakers took the time to pour into our students
with a passion that left its mark.

Biljana, I am so grateful. This pivotal experience could not have happened without your kindness.
Our plans for our own summit for Mitrovica are still in the forming stages, but we are banking on
your support and counsel as we move forward. In a couple of weeks at a local evening venue, a few
of our students will present to 40-50 local Mitrovica professionals who are invested in the growth and
transformation of Mitrovica. They will share of our trip to Sweden, our call with the mayor’s office of
Ljubljana and the impact of Macedonia2025 on them. In addition, they will share how these events
have shaped their dreams and the definition of our own summit.
