February saw no rain and fantastic golf course conditions and it was

great to see so many of you out playing.

Around this time we have received most the new product from the

different club manufacturers and we have plenty demos available

for use . We have the Titleist SM8 wedges, Taylormade Sim metals,

Callaway Maverick metals to name a few. Please remember that we

have a Flightscope launch monitor which is a great tool used by your

professionals for fittings.

March 2nd will we be the start of the range renovation project. We

will begin to remove the old surface and 2” of contaminated soil,

incorporate 2” of new soil and till that in 4” deep. Then we will level

and install new drainage/irrigation along with a permanent synthetic

strip. Once this work has been completed the tee will be reseeded.

While this is happening there will be disruption to the practice

facilities. Both sides of the driving range will be closed from March

2nd – 9th to allow the process to begin and for the safety of the

construction workers. The short game and putting green will be

open during this time.
