GENEROSITY: THE RADICAL CONCEPT
I have decided to ... be generous.
Look from a different perspective. Throughout this process, you’ve been moving away from a heart that is consumed by money and possession towards a heart that is generous. This is the ultimate goal. Being free from the control of money will ensure that you can live a generous life.
Let’s look at what this means. Generosity is being ready and willing to give more than what is expected. Although this definitely involves money, it also includes being generous with our time, belongings, ideas, admiration, appreciation and forgiveness. Interestingly, the dictionary definition of the word ‘generosity’ includes showing kindness, clearly demonstrating that generosity is more than just money.
