Your body language
1. Sit properly and your back should be straight and don’t try to get too comfortable because
it makes you look not serious about job interviews
2. Listen and respond attentively
3. Speak with a tone of voice and content in accord with your body language
The tone of voice: Use a friendly and firm voice
Body language: Can move your body but not too much
4. Maintain eye contact with the interviewer: Because if you don't have eye contact, it seems
you hide something or lie
5. Make smart gestures: Your gestures should not look like a robot and not too much to look
aggressive.
6. Be confident in your actions/answers but not too confident of aggressive
7. Ensure that you naturally act in a befitting manner

Consider mistakes you made on the interview and write down in your notebook and take
those mistakes to improve yourself in order to make better in the next job interview
Job interview communication mistakes
• Talking yourself out of a job
Don’t downplay your skills and strengths or be self-deprecating.
• Saying “Yes” to everything
You will seem desperate to please and willing to say anything to get the job.
• Having a know-it-all approach
You will appear arrogant, unwilling to learn or adapt, and not a team player.
• Going into autopilot
You will seem insincere, phrase your answers and questions in the context of
the conversation.
