leisure in one of the many restaurants and cafe throughout the town. One of the
most famous people of Ennis Daniel O'Connell was the inspiration for Frederick
Douglass who was central to the anti slavery movement in the US.
Evening
Guest will depart for a private Irish farm for a unique drinks reception & dinner at a
bespoke whiskey producer. This Purpose Built Whiskey Rackhouse is the only one
of it's kind in Ireland. There was a time that every town in Ireland had its own local
flavour of whiskey. Grocers would travel to distilleries by horse and cart, fill up
barrels with whiskey and bring that whiskey home to age. Because 80% of
Whiskeys flavour comes from the barrel it is aged in and the climate where that
barrel is stored, this resulted in a vast variety of whiskey flavours all over the Island
of Ireland. As exclusive guests you will meet one of only 4 Master Coopers in
Ireland.
An acclaimed Irish dancing display will follow dinner to really immerse guests into
Irish culture and traditions.
Whilst guest are at dinner a personalized bottle of the local producers 25 years old
whiskey will be delivered to their room.
