The City
The city is ideally situated between the mountains and the sea where just a
20-minute journey will bring you from the bustling metropolis to
the charming towns and villages which dot the coastline providing
boundless opportunities for golf, water sports, seafood dining and
picturesque walks.
A little further and you’ll reach the Dublin Mountains where hiking, biking,
and walking trails are in abundance.
Nestled beneath the Dublin and Wicklow Mountains you’ll find the old, scenic
and beautiful coastal towns and villages of Blackrock, Dun Laoghaire,
Dalkey, and Killiney; known for their relaxed vibe and café culture. To the
north of the city, the towns of Howth and Malahide boast stunning views,
scenic walks, and famed seafood; while inland you’ll discover world class
golf links.
Dublin’s Cultural Heritage
Dublin has a huge wealth of cultural
visitor attractions within leisurely walking distance around the compact city
center. The medieval St. Patrick’s Cathedral and Christchurch
Cathedral, along with Trinity College’s Book of Kells; the Guinness
Storehouse and Dublin Castle are all in the heart of the city. The
architecture of Dublin includes everything from cobblestones and churches
to the sleek modernity of the newly renovated docklands, via the elegant
wide avenues of the Georgian era.
