again; It never left. Only dormant in my soul it slept. It’s haunting me, that subtle urge, driving head on to your heart, not to swerve.
Can you shift the blame? I’m not that impressed because you can’t tell the difference when I’m shy and when I’m depressed.
It’s back again—my shyness, with every look and every bat of those eyelashes. It’s butterflies, It’s chemistry; exploding neurons in my mind might kill me.

ELWIN A song fills her body as a bird flutters in her ribcage. With every breath breathed in the bird flies a little higher.The sound soothes its desire until weary wings find rest perched upon her heart.

ELWIN The music overflows, it pours out from her lips as words. Lyrics for the One she loves; if no one else, the bird would’ve known. His name is written on her bones, giving her a strength to stand and a hand of grace to start.
