Symbol explanation
I chose the symbols of a lantern and the sun because both of these objects represent my
family. A lantern and the sun both bring lightness to darkness and give others the ability to see. This represents my family as they are very generous and loving and they have helped many people out of tough spots out of the kindness of their hearts. I believe that my family is the light of my life and that I am theirs. I also chose these symbols as my family loves the outdoors and nature. The sun is a natural element that is there all the time, even when you can not see it, just like family. A lantern is used to shine a light when outside and it is dark and helps you find your way just as my family has helped me find my way and continues to do so. My family is the light of my life and these symbols reflect that symbolically and literally.
