 STANDARDIZED TESTING Details and Recommendations
General Notes and Recommendations:
• Prepare for standardized tests
• Take both the SAT Reasoning Test with Writing and the ACT with Writing
• Take at least one of each of these tests in the spring/second semester of junior year
• Select Gulliver Prep as your test site
• The Miller Drive Campus - Preparatory CEEB Code is 101012
• See your counselor if you think your schedule of testing should differ from the recommended timeline

The SAT
• Information available at www.collegeboard.org
• SAT Reasoning Test: Reading test, Writing and Language test, Math test and SAT essay
• SAT Subject Tests:
• Subject-specific tests
• Only some colleges require them, some recommend them
• Up to three can be taken on any of the national test dates
• See teachers and your counselor about advice for taking the SAT Subject Test for a specific subject
• Typically taken in May or June of junior year, as they are a bit like a final exam for certain courses
