The STEAM Department cultivates lifelong learners who apply practical and creative thinking skills in science, technology, engineering, art, and math to design solutions to problems within their school and global community. This challenging program focuses on developing well- rounded engineers and leverages competition as a vehicle to inspire leadership and innovation.

Being in Miami, we are all part of the thread that makes up our multilingual community. But it takes more than learning a second language. Cultural awareness is integral to developing an empathetic and global mindset. We offer language courses in Spanish for Primary and Lower School, as well as Spanish and French through our After School Enrichment Program. Beginning in first grade, we also offer
an English Language Learners (ELL) program for our international students who would benefit from English language support. And in fifth grade, our students spin the Gulliver Language Wheel to reveal where their journey starts. Will it be French, Spanish, Japanese, or Mandarin? By the end of the year, they’ll have explored all four. That’s just one step of their journey into a bigger, more beautiful world.
