 Life
Darkness, Then, Light!
The world,
Swirling,
Moving,
One Hundred Miles an Hour, Picks me up,
Brings me out to a sea, Of chaos,
But,
Beauty.
People pass me, Unfortunate people, Born without,
As good of a life
As me Splendor!
-Archer Bellas, Grade 6
 Blossom
flowers beautiful delicate gentle
in the spring
they bloom
like butterflies reaching out
ready to see the world
in the winter
they stop growing dormant
sleeping alongside bears
blossoms
patiently wait
thinking about how spring will arrive emerging in a body of lovely color
-Amparo Torres Platt, Grade 6
 Balance
Everywhere there is balance Light and darkness
Cold and hot
Joyful and depressing Exciting and bland
There is balance
That is the purpose of the world To make balance
Everything
Equal
Life, Death Growth, Decay Loss, Retrieval Life is a circle Life has balance.
-Nicolas Solorzano, Grade 6
  Isabella Biscombe, Grade 8
