Inhabit the mountain.
Santiago de Chile, Chile.
This workshop raises the problem of the densification
of the city of Santiago through the case study of the
town of Farellones, located in the Andes, in order to
pose it as a growth platform for the city of Santiago
beyond temporality of its use as winter recreation
area and sky center.
There are 3 situations to be studied:
* Living in the mountain from residential
infrastructure in vertical density.
* The plan of public spaces capable of satisfying the
demand of its inhabitants.
* The equipment of buildings for public use
necessary to allow the habitability of the place.

The explorations will focus on the temporary project
of Farellones: a- in winter and in summer; b- day and
night; c- during the week and on the weekend; d-
views towards the mountain range and views
towards the city of Santiago.
