               be iudge betweene thee and me, and the Lord neyther did they misse any thing all the while

               thee.  14  According as the olde prouerbe sayeth, they wil shew thee. Wherefore let these yong
               Wickednesse proceedeth from the wicked, but men finde fauour in thine eyes: (for we come
               mine hand be not vpon thee.      15  After whom in a good season) giue, I pray thee, whatsoeuer
               is the King of Israel come out? after whome commeth to thine hand vnto thy seruants, and to
               doest thou pursue? after a dead dog, and after thy sonne Dauid.     9  And when Dauids yong men
               a flea?  16 The Lord therfore be iudge, and iudge came, they tolde Nabal all those wordes in the
               betweene thee and me, and see, and pleade my name of Dauid, and helde their peace.        10  Then
               cause, and deliuer me out of thine hand.  17 Whe Nabal answered Dauids seruantes, and sayd, Who
               Dauid had made an end of speaking these words     is Dauid? and who is the sonne of Ishai? there be
               to Saul, Saul sayd, Is this thy voyce, my sonne many seruantes nowe a dayes, that breake away
               Dauid? and Saul lift vp his voice, and wept,  18 And euery man from his master.  11  Shall I then take
               sayd to Dauid, Thou art more righteous then I: for my bread, and my water, and my flesh that I
               thou hast rendred me good, and I haue rendred haue killed for my sherers, and giue it vnto men,
               thee euill.  19  And thou hast shewed this day, whom I know not whence they be?       12 So Dauids
               that thou hast dealt well with me: forasmuch as seruants turned their way, and went againe, and
               whentheLordhadclosedme inthinehands, thou         came, and tolde him all those things.    13  And
               killedst me not.  20 For who shall finde his enemie,
               and let him depart free? wherefore the Lord       Dauid said vnto his men, Girde euery man his
               render thee good for that thou hast done vnto me  sword about him. And they girded euery man
               this day.  21 For now behold, I know that thou shalt  his sworde: Dauid also girded his sworde. And
               be King, and that the kingdome of Israel shall be  about foure hundreth men went vp after Dauid,

               stablished in thine hand.  22  Sweare now therfore  and two hundreth abode by the cariage.  Nowe
               vnto me by the Lord, that thou wilt not destroy   one of the seruantes tolde Abigail Nabals wife,
               my seede after me, and that thou wilt not abolish  saying, Beholde, Dauid sent messengers out of
               my name out of my fathers house.     23  So Dauid  the wildernesse to salute our master, and he

                  1  Then Samuel dyed, and all Israel assembled,  fieldes.  They were as a wall vnto vs both by

               and mourned for him, and buried him in his        keeping sheepe.   17  Nowe therefore take heede,
               owne house at Ramah. And Dauid arose and went

               of his wife Abigail, and she was a woman of       parched corne, and an hundreth frailes of raisins,
               singular wisdome, and beautifull, but the man     and two hundreth of figs, and laded them on
               was churlish, and euil conditioned, and was of    asses.  19  Then she said vnto her seruants, Go ye
               the familie of Caleb.  4  And Dauid heard in the before me: beholde, I will come after you: yet
               wildernesse, that Nabal did shere his sheepe.     she tolde not her husband Nabal.  20  And as shee

               be in peace, wealth and prosperitie.   7  Behold, so that nothing was missed of all that pertained
               I haue heard, that thou hast sherers: now thy vnto him: for he hath requited me euill for good.
