Proverbs 12:1                                  481                                 Proverbs 13:23
                                     12                          but the way of the wicked will deceiue them.
                                                                 27 The deceitfull man rosteth not, that hee tooke
                  1  He that loueth instruction, loueth knowl- in hunting: but the riches of the diligent man are
               edge: but he that hateth correction, is a foole. A  precious.  28 Life is in the way of righteousnesse,

               good man getteth fauour of the Lord: but the man  and in that path way there is no death.

               man cannot be established by wickednesse: but                           13
               the roote of the righteous shall not be mooued.     1  A wise sonne will obey the instruction of

               righteous will deliuer them. God ouerthroweth     but his soule hath nought: but the soule of the

               the wicked, and they are not: but the house       diligent shall haue plentie.  5  A righteous man
               of the righteous shall stand.  8  A man shall be  hatethlyingwordes: butthewickedcausethslan-
               commended for his wisedome: but the froward of    der and shame. Righteousnesse preserueth the

               heart shalbe despised. He that is despised, and is  vpright of life: but wickednes ouerthroweth the
               his owne seruant, is better then he that boasteth        7
               himselfe and lacketh bread.  10  A righteous man  sinner. There is that maketh himselfe riche, and
               regardeth the life of his beast: but the mercies  hath nothing, and that maketh himselfe poore,

               of the wicked are cruell.  11  He that tilleth his  hauing great riches. A man will giue his riches
               lande, shalbe satisfied with bread: but he that   for the ransome of his life: but the poore cannot
               followeth the idle, is destitute of vnderstanding.  heare ye reproch.  9  The light of the righteous
               12  The wicked desireth the net of euils: but the  reioyceth: but the candle of the wicked shall be

               deceite.  18 There is that speaketh wordes like the  the way of the disobedient is hated.  16  Euery
               prickings of a sworde: but the tongue of wise men  wise man will worke by knowledge: but a foole
               is health.  19  The lip of trueth shall be stable for  will spread abroade folly.  17 A wicked messenger
               euer: but a lying tongue varieth incontinently.   falleth into euill: but a faithfull ambassadour is
               20  Deceite is in the heart of them that imagine  preseruation.  18  Pouertie and shame is to him
               euill: but to the counsellers of peace shall be   that refuseth instruction: but hee that regardeth
               ioye.  21  There shall none iniquitie come to the  correction, shalbe honoured.  19 A desire accom-
               iust: but the wicked are full of euill.  22 The lying  plished deliteth ye soule: but it is an abomination
               lips are an abomination to the Lord: but they     to fooles to depart from euil.  20 He that walketh
               that deale truely are his delite.  23  A wise man  with the wise, shalbe wise: but a companion of
               concealeth knowledge: but the heart of the fooles  fooles shalbe afflicted.  21 Affliction followeth sin-
               publisheth foolishnes.  24 The hand of the diligent ners: but vnto the righteous God will recompense
               shall beare rule: but the idle shalbe vnder tribute. good.  22  The good man shall giue inheritance
               25  Heauines in the heart of man doeth bring it   vnto his childrens children: and the riches of the
               downe: but a good worde reioyceth it.     26  The sinner is layde vp for the iust.  23  Much foode
               righteous is more excellent then his neighbour: is in the fielde of the poore: but the fielde is
