Jeremiah 29:22                                 570                                 Jeremiah 30:19

            and he shall slay them before your eyes.  22  And wee haue heard a terrible voyce, of feare and not
            al they of the captiuitie of Iudah, that are in of peace.    6  Demand now and beholde, if man
            Babel, shall take vp this curse against them, and trauayle with childe? wherefore doe I beholde
            say, The Lord make thee like Zedekiah and like euery man with his hands on his loynes as a
            Ahab, whome the King of Babel burnt in the fire, woman in trauaile, and all faces are turned into
            23 Because they haue committed vilenie in Israel,  a palenesse?  7  Alas, for this day is great: none
            and haue committed adulterie with their neigh-   hath bene like it: it is euen the time of Iaakobs
            bours wiues, and haue spoken lying words in my   trouble, yet shall he be deliuered from it.  8  For
            Name, which I haue not commanded them, euen      in that day, sayth the Lord of hostes, I will
            I knowe it, and testifie it, saith the Lord.  24 Thou  breake his yoke from off thy necke, and breake
            shalt also speake to Shemaiah the Nehelamite, thy bondes, and strangers shall no more serue
            saying,  25 Thus speaketh the Lord of hostes, the themselues of him.   9  But they shall serue the
            God of Israel, saying, Because thou hast sent Lord their God, and Dauid their King, whom I
            letters in thy Name vnto all the people, that will raise vp vnto them.     10  Therefore feare not,
            are at Ierusalem, and to Zephaniah the sonne of O my seruant Iaakob, saith the Lord, neither be
            Maaseiah the Priest, and to all the Priests, saying, afrayde, O Israel: for loe, I will deliuer thee from
            26  The Lord hath made thee Priest for Iehoiada a farre countrey, and thy seede from the lande
            the Priest, that yee should bee officers in the  of their captiuitie, and Iaakob shall turne againe,
            House of the Lord, for euery man that raueth     and shalbe in rest and prosperitie and none shall
            and maketh himselfe a Prophet, to put him in     make him afraide.   11  For I am with thee, sayth
            prison and in the stockes.  27 Nowe therefore why  the Lord, to saue thee: though I vtterly destroy
            hast not thou reproued Ieremiah of Anathoth,     all the nations where I haue scattered thee, yet
            whichpropheciethvntoyou?     28 For, forthiscause  will I not vtterly destroy thee, but I will correct
            hee sent vnto vs in Babel, saying, This captiuitie  thee by iudgement, and not vtterly cut thee
            is long: buyld houses to dwell in, and plant     off.  12  For thus saith the Lord, Thy bruising is
            gardens, and eate the fruites of them.   29  And  incurable, and thy wound is dolorous.  13  There
            Zephaniah the Priest red this letter in the eares  is none to iudge thy cause, or to lay a plaister:
            of Ieremiah the Prophet.  30 Then came the worde  there are no medicines, nor help for thee.  14 All
            of the Lord vnto Ieremiah, saying,  31 Send to all  thy louers haue forgotten thee: they seeke thee
            them of the captiuitie, saying, Thus saith the   not: for I haue striken thee with the wound
            Lord of Shemaiah the Nehelamite, Because that of an enemie, and with a sharpe chastisement
            Shemaiah hath prophecied vnto you, and I sent    for ye multitude of thine iniquities, because thy
            him not, and hee caused you to trust in a lye,   sinnes were increased.   15  Why cryest thou for
            32  Therefore thus saieth the Lord, Behold, I wil  thine affliction? thy sorowe is incurable, for the

            he hath spoken rebelliously against the Lord.    shall be deuoured, and all thine enemies euery
                                                             one shall goe into captiuitie: and they that spoyle
                                  30                         thee, shalbe spoyled, and all they that robbe thee,
                                                                                      For I will restore health
                                                             wil I giue to be robbed.

              1  The worde, that came to Ieremiah from the vnto thee, and I will heale thee of thy woundes,
            Lord, saying,  2  Thus speaketh the Lord God of  saith the Lord, because they called thee, The cast
            Israel, saying, Write thee all the wordes, that I  away, saying, This is Zion, whom no man seeketh
            haue spoken vnto thee in a booke.     3  For loe,  after.  18  Thus saith the Lord, Beholde, I will
            the dayes come, saith the Lord, that I wil bring bring againe the captiuitie of Iaakobs tentes, and
            againe the captiuitie of my people Israel and haue compassion on his dwelling places: and the
            Iudah, saith the Lord: for I will restore them citie shalbe builded vpon her owne heape, and
            vnto the lande, that I gaue to their fathers, and  the palace shall remaine after the maner thereof.
            they shall possesse it.  4  Againe, these are the  19 And out of them shall proceede thankesgiuing,
            wordes that the Lord spake concerning Israel,    and the voyce of them that are ioyous, and
            and concerning Iudah. For thus saith the Lord,
