Ezekiel 21:22                                  614                                   Ezekiel 22:20

            wayes, consulting by diuination, and made his selfe.    4  Thou hast offended in thy blood, that
            arrowes bright: hee consulted with idoles, and thou hast shed, and hast polluted thy selfe in
            looked in the liuer.  22  At his right hand was the thine idols, which thou hast made, and thou hast
            diuination for Ierusalem to appoint captaines, to  caused thy dayes to draw neere, and art come
            open their mouth in the slaughter, and to lift   vnto thy terme: therefore haue I made thee a
            vp their voyce with shouting, to laye engines of  reproch to the heathen, and a mocking to all

            warre against the gates, to cast a mount, and to  countreys. Those that be neere, and those that
            builde a fortresse.  23 And it shalbe vnto them as a  be farre from thee, shall mocke thee, which art
            false diuination in their sight for the othes made  vile in name and sore in affliction.  6  Beholde,
            vnto them: but hee will call to remembrance      the princes of Israel euery one in thee was ready
            their iniquitie, to the intent they should be taken.  to his power, to shed blood.  7  In thee haue
            24 Therefore thus sayeth the Lord God, Because ye  they despised father and mother: in the middes
            haue made your iniquitie to bee remembred, in    of thee haue they oppressed the stranger: in
            discouering your rebellion, that in al your workes  thee haue they vexed the fatherlesse and the
            your sinnes might appeare: because, I say, that ye  widowe.  8  Thou hast despised mine holy things,
            are come to remembrance, ye shall be taken with  and hast polluted my Sabbaths.     9  In thee are
            the hand.  25  And thou prince of Israel polluted,  men that cary tales to shed blood: in thee are
            and wicked, whose day is come, when iniquitie    they that eate vpon the mountaines: in ye mids
            shall haue an ende,  26  Thus saith the Lord God,  of thee they comit abomination.     10  In thee
            I will take away the diademe, and take off the haue they discouered their fathers shame: in
            crowne: this shalbe no more the same: I wil exalt thee haue they vexed her that was polluted in
            the humble, and will abase him that is hie.  27 I wil  her floures.  11  And euery one hath committed
            ouerturne, ouerturne, ouerturne it, and it shall  abomination with his neighbours wife, and euery
            be no more vntill he come, whose right it is, and
            I will giue it him.  28  And thou, sonne of man,  one hath wickedly defiled his daughter in lawe,
                                                             and in thee hath euery man forced his owne
            prophecie, and say, Thus saith the Lord God to   sister, euen his fathers daughter.    12  In thee
            the children of Ammon, and to their blasphemie:  haue they taken giftes to shed blood: thou hast
            say thou, I say, The sword, the sword is drawen  taken vsurie and the encrease, and thou hast
            foorth, and fourbished to the slaughter, to con-  defrauded thy neighbours by extortion, and hast
            sume, because of the glittering:  29  Whiles they  forgotten me, saith the Lord God.  13  Beholde,
            see vanitie vnto thee, and prophecied a lie vnto  therefore I haue smitten mine hands vpon thy
            thee to bring thee vpon the neckes of the wicked  couetousnesse, that thou hast vsed, and vpon the
            that are slaine, whose day is come when their    blood, which hath bene in the middes of thee.
            iniquitie shall haue an ende.  30  Shall I cause it to  14 Can thine heart endure, or can thine hands be
            returne into his sheath? I will iudge thee in the strong, in the dayes that I shall haue to doe with
            place where thou wast created, euen in the land thee? I the Lord haue spoken it, and will doe it.
            of thine habitation.  31 And I wil powre out mine  15 And I wil scatter thee among the heathen, and
            indignation vpon thee, and will blowe against disperse thee in the countreys, and will cause thy
            thee in the fire of my wrath, and deliuer thee into filthines to cease from thee.  16  And thou shalt
            the hand of beastly men, and skilfull to destroy. take thine inheritance in thy selfe in the sight of
            32 Thou shalt bee in the fire to be deuoured: thy the heathen, and thou shalt knowe that I am the
            blood shall be in the middes of the lande, and   Lord.  17 And the worde of the Lord came vnto me,

            thou shalt be no more remembred: for I the Lord  saying, Sonneofman, thehouseofIsraelisvnto
            haue spoken it.                                  me as drosse: all they are brasse, and tinne, and
                                  22                         yron, and leade in the mids of the fornace: they
                                                             are euen the drosse of siluer.

                                                                                              Therefore, thus
              1  Moreover, the worde of the Lord came vnto sayth the Lord God, Because ye are all as drosse,
            me, saying, Now thou sonne of man, wilt thou     beholde, therefore I will gather you in the middes

            iudge, wilt thou iudge this bloody citie? wilt   of Ierusalem.  20 As they gather siluer and brasse,
            thou shew her all her abominations?      3  Then  and yron, and leade, and tinne into the middes of
            say, Thus sayth the Lord God, The citie sheddeth  the fornace, to blowe the fire vpon it to melt it, so
            blood in the middes of it, that her time may come,  wil I gather you in mine anger and in my wrath,
            and maketh idols against her selfe to pollute her
