            selfe, that they also may bee sanctified through the captaine, and the officers of the Iewes tooke
            the trueth.  20 I praie not for these alone, but for Iesus, and bound him,  13  And led him away to
            them also which shall beleeue in mee, through Annas first (for he was father in lawe to Caiaphas,
            their woorde,  21  That they all may bee one, as which was the hie Priest that same yeere)  14 And
            thou, O Father, art in me, and I in thee: euen that Caiaphas was he, that gaue counsel to the Iewes,
            they may be also one in vs, that the worlde may  that it was expedient that one man should die
            beleeue that thou hast sent me.  22 And the glory  for the people.  15  Nowe Simon Peter folowed
            that thou gauest me, I haue giuen them, that they  Iesus, and another disciple, and that disciple was
            may be one, as we are one,  23 I in them, and thou  knowen of the hie Priest: therefore he went in
            inmee, that they may bemade perfectinone, and with Iesus into the hall of the hie Priest:  16  But
            that the worlde may knowe that thou hast sent    Peter stood at the doore without. Then went out
            mee, and hast loued them, as thou hast loued me.  the other disciple which was knowen vnto the hie
            24  Father, I will that they which thou hast giuen  Priest, and spake to her that kept the doore, and
            me, be with me euen where I am, that they may    brought in Peter.  17  Then saide the maide that
            beholde that my glorie, which thou hast giuen    kept the doore, vnto Peter, Art not thou also one
            mee: for thou louedst me before the foundation   of this mans disciples? He sayd, I am not.  18 And
            of the world.  25  O righteous Father, the worlde the seruants and officers stoode there, which
            also hath not knowen thee, but I haue knowen     had made a fire of coles: for it was colde, and
            thee, and these haue knowen, that thou hast sent  they warmed themselues. And Peter also stood
            me.  26  And I haue declared vnto the thy Name, among them, and warmed himselfe.       19  (The hie
            and will declare it, that the loue wherewith thou Priest then asked Iesus of his disciples, and of his

              1  When Iesus had spoken these things, hee and in secret haue I sayde nothing.    21 Why askest

            officers of the high Priests, and of the Pharises, spoken, beare witnes of the euil: but if I haue
            came thither with lanternes and torches, and well spoken, why smitest thou me?           24  Nowe
            weapons.  4  Then Iesus, knowing all things that  Annas had sent him bound vnto Caiaphas the hie
            shoulde come vnto him, went foorth and said      Priest)  25  And Simon Peter stoode and warmed
            vnto them, Whom seeke yee?     5  They answered  himselfe, and they said vnto him, Art not thou
            him, Iesus of Nazareth. Iesus sayde vnto them,   also of his disciples? He denied it, and said, I
            I am hee. Nowe Iudas also which betraied him,    am not.  26 One of the seruaunts of the hie Priest,
            stoode with them.   6  Assoone then as hee had   his cousin whose eare Peter smote off, saide, Did
            saide vnto them, I am hee, they went away        not I see thee in the garden with him?   27  Peter

            backewardes, and fell to the grounde. Then he    then denied againe, and immediatly the cocke
            asked them againe, Whome seeke yee? And they     crewe.  28 Then led they Iesus from Caiaphas into
            sayd, Iesus of Nazareth.  8  Iesus answered, I said  the common hall. Nowe it was morning, and they
            vnto you, that I am he: therefore if ye seeke me,  themselues went not into the common hall, least

            let these go their way. This was that the worde they should be defiled, but that they might eate
            might be fulfilled which hee spake, Of them the Passeouer.      29 Pilate then went out vnto them,
            which thou gauest me, haue I lost none.  10 Then and said, What accusation bring yee against this
            Simon Peter hauing a sword, drewe it, and smote man?    30 They answered, and saide vnto him, If
            the hie Priests seruant, and cut off his right eare. hee were not an euill doer, we woulde not haue
            Nowe the seruants name was Malchus.     11  Then  deliuered him vnto thee.   31  Then sayde Pilate
            sayde Iesus vnto Peter, Put vp thy sworde into vnto them, Take yee him, and iudge him after
            the sheath: shall I not drinke of the cuppe which your owne Lawe. Then the Iewes sayde vnto him,
            my Father hath giuen me?  12 Then the bande and It is not lawfull for vs to put any man to death.
