                                                                 7 But we were gentle among you, euen as a nource

                                                                 cherisheth her children. Thus being affectioned

                                                                 vs.  9  For ye remember, brethren, our labour

               in power, and in the holy Ghost, and in much      when ye receiued the worde of God, which ye
               assurance, as ye know after what maner we were    heard of vs, ye receiued it not as the worde of
               among you for your sakes.     6  And ye became    men, but as it is in deede the worde of God,
               followers of vs, and of the Lord, and receiued the  which also worketh in you that beleeue.  14  For
               worde in much affliction, with ioy of the holy    brethren, ye are become folowers of the Churches
               Ghost, So that ye were as ensamples to all that   of God, which in Iudea are in Christ Iesus, because

               beleeue in Macedonia and in Achaia.   8 For from  ye haue also suffred the same things of your
               you sounded out the worde of the Lord, not in     owne countrey men, euen as they haue of the
               Macedonia and in Achaia only: but your faith      Iewes, 15 Who both killed the Lord Iesus and their
               also which is toward God, spred abroad in all     owne Prophets, and haue persecuted vs away,
               quarters, that we neede not to speake any thing.  and God they please not, and are contrary to all
               9  For they themselues shew of vs what maner of   men, 16 And forbid vs to preach vnto the Gentiles,
               entring in we had vnto you, and how ye turned     that they might be saued, to fulfill their sinnes
               to God from idoles, to serue the liuing and true  alwayes: for the wrath of God is come on them, to
               God,  10 And to looke for his sonne from heauen,  the vtmost.  17 For asmuch, brethren, as we were
               whome he raised from the dead, euen Iesus which   kept from you for a season, concerning sight, but

                  1  For ye your selues knowe, brethren, that our  but Satan hindered vs.  19 For what is our hope or
               entrance in vnto you was not in vaine,     2  But  ioye, or crowne of reioycing? are not euen you

               cleannes, nor by guile. But as we were allowed    wee thought it good to remaine at Athens alone,

               as ye knowe, nor coloured couetousnes, God is with these afflictions: for ye your selues knowe,
               recorde.   6  Neither sought we prayse of men, that we are appointed thereunto.       4  For verily
               neither of you, nor of others, when we might when we were with you, we told you before that
               haue bene chargeable, as the Apostles of Christ. we should suffer tribulations, euen as it came to
