          Yadid (Friend)

          Yadid  comprises two repetitions of a single syllable, written the same but pro-

          nounced differently. In Hebrew, the word yadid  is written as follows (read from
          right to left):

                                     (ד + י) + (ד + י)

            The word “hand” in Hebrew is yad,  written like
                                          ד + י
