Brighton is in the heart of apple country and fall is harvest time. A wide
variety of apples are grown here from the classic Macintosh to the very
popular Galas and Ambrosias. You can pick your own at the orchards
or buy them at markets or roadside stands.
Apples are nutritional power houses loaded with vitamins, minerals,
fibre antioxidants and more. Not for nothing are they said to keep
the doctor away.
