Starting Samsung DeX
You can use Samsung DeX in two ways, on tablet screen and external display.
Starting Samsung DeX on tablet screen
Use your tablet like a computer by connecting the Keyboard Cover.
To switch to Samsung DeX directly when connecting the Keyboard Cover, launch the
Settings app, tap Advanced features → Samsung DeX, and then tap the Auto start when
Book Cover Keyboard is connected switch to activate it.
1 Position the tablet’s rear camera to insert it into the rear camera hole and put the tablet in
the stand.
