Additional keyboard functions

• : Predict words based on your input and show word suggestions. To return to the
keyboard functions list, tap .
• : Enter emoticons.

• : Enter stickers.
• : Attach animated GIFs.

• : Enter text by voice.

• : Change the keyboard settings.
• → : Switch to handwriting mode.

Switch to the standard View information about
keyboard. editing handwriting.

You can quickly switch to handwriting mode by hovering the S Pen over the text
field and tapping . If this feature is not activated, launch the Settings app,
tap Advanced features → S Pen, and then tap the Direct pen input switch to
activate it.

• → : Create a live message. Instead of a text message, record your actions while

handwriting or drawing a message and save it as an animated file. Refer to Live message
for more information.
• → : Add an item from the clipboard.
• → : Switch to the floating or split keyboard. You can move the keyboard to

another location by dragging the tab.
