Map of Quebec Catholic Parishes and Fortier family residences after 1900 to present. In the mid 1900s some Fortier family offshoots began leaving the southern St Lawrence Valley for larger towns such as Sherbrooke, Compton, and even Montreal. I have traced several of Achilles children to New Hampshire, Vermont, Maine and even as far as Michigan. Today, most of Eds siblings children are in and around Lac Megantic.
