Map of Quebec Catholic Parishes and Fortier family migration up to approximately 1800. Antoine Fortiers younger children and grandchildren had to migrate south of Ile d Orleans to find available farm land. Parishes included Saint Charles-de- Bellechasse, Saint Henri, Saint Gervais, Saint Philemon, Saint Anseleme, Saint Lazare-de-Bellechasse, and Saint Lambert-Lauzon.
