W&RSETA BOARD CONDUCTS PROJECT
     OVERSIGHT VISITS


       he Board of the W&RSETA recently conducted project oversight visits in Gauteng, Western Cape and KwaZulu-Natal. The Board
     Tinteracted with companies, training providers and learners on various projects of the SETA. These visits are part of the Board’s
     responsibility to monitor expenditure and return on investment of the W&RSETA funded projects. Beneficiaries provided feedback on how
     they benefited from the programmes, which demonstrates that the W&RSETA’s contribution reduce poverty and unemployment in society.

     The focus of the visits was on special partnerships, people with disabilities and rural development. The following companies or projects
     were visited based on the initiative identified:



                                                                Tradeport  provides opportunities to unemployed learners to
                                                                upskill themselves through various learning programmes. The
                                                                highlight from the oversight visit was  the 45 learners who are
                                                                registered  on an NQF Level 3 learnership.  During the Board’s
                                                                visit, Tradeport pledged R3,8 million towards a partnership with
                                                                the W&RSETA.

                                                                Mega Super Spar  where  39 learners are currently hosted

                                                                Gauteng
                                                                United Pharmaceuticals  Distributors  is one of the
