Celebrating skills development –

     Pack n Stack graduation








































        he W&RSETA ended 2021  on a high note celebrating the
     Tsuccessful completion  of a learnership project  for one  of its
     stakeholder companies, Pack n Stack. About 156 learners nationally
     who completed the Wholesale and Retail Merchandising NQF Level
     2 and Wholesale and Retail Supervision NQF Level 4 learnerships
     graduated on 07 December 2021. Over 30 of the learners were
     from W&RSETA-funded programmes.

     Glenda Connoll, outgoing General Manager: Learning and
     Development congratulated the learners and applauded them for
     completing their programmes during difficult times of the COVID-19
     pandemic.

     The W&RSETA CEO, Tom Mkhwanazi was honoured to address the
     learners conveying a message of support from the SETA’s Board,    W&RSETA CEO Tom Mkhwanazi handing out a

     management, and staff. He urged the learners to continue developing
     themselves  because  education is  a lifelong  journey. “Through the
     SETA system and Pack n Stack, you can study up to NQF level 6 on
     learnerships which is at a store manager level. You can then study
     other qualifications related to wholesale and retail up to NQF level
     10, which is commonly known as a doctorate. There are W&RSETA-
     funded bursaries to support you,” said Mkhwanazi adding that the
     Wholesale and Retail Sector has many opportunities particularly
     during this technological era we are living in.

     With great excitement, CEO of Pack n Stack, Glenn Brauns emphasised
     that the company’s 18 000 employees were its ambassadors and a
     big part of the company responsible for its success. Brauns indicated
     that the company had invested about R6 million to  training and
     development in recent years.
     “We are a growing business, and the growth of the company brings   CEO of Pack n Stack, Glenn Brauns addressed the
     opportunities for employees to grow. To the graduates who will be                 graduates
     with us in the future, there will be many opportunities available in the
     company”, said Brauns.
